Tips to make Back to School Easier

Lazy days at the beach. Afternoons filled with bike rides and play. Bbq’s on the deck and s’mores by the camp fire. That’s what summer is here in West MI and many other places as well. Sadly, all of that will soon come to an end as the first day of school is quickly approaching.

Now is the time to get ready so that you don’t take last year’s craziness into this school year. Many of us have already received our school’s supply list for the year. But have we began organizing our lives and homes for a smooth transition? We’ve got you covered! Here are a few tips to help get you and your crew out the door in the morning without pulling out all of your hair.

1. Get everything you can ready the night before. Have your kids do the following:

2. Start the year off right by being on time. Set the alarm for an early wake up. Be sure that your kids are getting the necessary hours of sleep each night.

3. Have a designated space for homework. This will help take the stress out of trying to find the necessary supplies because they’re already there waiting to be used.
