Cleaning for a Reason
A diagnosis of cancer can be overwhelming. It takes a community of support to walk alongside an individual when they've received this diagnosis. We are honored to be a part of that community. As a partner with Cleaning For A Reason, we are able to offer free house cleanings for cancer patients undergoing treatment. Each cancer patient receives a free house cleaning for 2 consecutive months. We are committed to raising awareness for those impacted by cancer as well as raising funds to support the efforts of Cleaning For A Reason.
When I was going through chemo treatments it was such a blessing to have Sparkle and Shine come clean my house through Cleaning for a Reason. This was such a gift to me when I was feeling weak and tired. Sparkle and Shine made me feel comfortable and cared for. My house looked and smelled great and they were so kind and helpful to work with. I would highly recommend Sparkle and Shine for any household cleaning services, and I love that they are willing to offer this service for cancer patients.

What is Cleaning for Cancer Week?
Each October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we host a week-long event offering free house cleaning to cancer patients in our community. The focus is providing these services to cancer patients, as well as raising funds to help the ongoing efforts of Cleaning for a Reason.
Why are we doing this?
Maintaining a clean home, while focusing on your health and spending time with family is challenging when going through cancer treatment. At Sparkle & Shine Cleaning Services of West MI, LLC, our mission is to help our clients reclaim their time by coming alongside them in the care and keeping of their homes. By cleaning for cancer patients, our goal is to take away the stress of housework, so people can focus on their health and family.
What does the cleaning entail?
Each patient will receive a Free General Maintenance Cleaning visit, which includes dusting, cleaning, and sanitizing surfaces in the kitchen, dining room, living room, bedrooms, bathrooms, floors.
How can I get involved?
Thank you for your interest in helping! There are a few ways you can support our cause:

- Residence must be within our service area
